Can I really get a same-day appointment in Birmingham city centre?

Yes — we reserve time every working day for patients in pain. Call us as early as possible (lines open 8:30am, 8:00am Fridays) and we'll give you the earliest slot. Our practice on Newhall Street is a 10-minute walk from New Street and Snow Hill stations.

How much does an emergency dental appointment cost?

A designated pain appointment — including assessment, dressing or prescription — is £70. If further treatment is needed, we'll always give you a transparent, written quote before starting anything. No surprises.

Will my tooth pain go away without treatment?

Painkillers can mask symptoms, but dental pain almost always signals an underlying problem — decay, a crack or infection — that worsens without treatment. Infections in particular can become serious. The sooner you're seen, the simpler (and cheaper) the fix usually is.

Can you treat broken teeth, lost fillings and abscesses?

Absolutely. We treat broken and chipped teeth, lost crowns and fillings, gum infections and dental abscesses using modern diagnostic tools. Our aim at a first emergency visit is simple: get you out of pain and stabilise the tooth.

We're open Monday to Friday, but dental pain doesn't keep office hours — call the practice line on 0121 236 7630 for immediate advice and to arrange the earliest possible visit. If you have severe swelling affecting breathing or swallowing, go straight to A&E.
